The working reference for the pthwyconnect identity. Everything here is generated from parameters in the repository; nothing is hand-drawn, so nothing drifts.
01 · The mark
A gateway with a road through it
An arch. Inside it, two bars over a road that narrows to the vanishing point. Read together, the bars and the road form the Greek letter Xi in one-point perspective, laid into the scene rather than printed on it.
The arch is the way forward; the road is the path through it. The road carries the one accent, teal: deep on light grounds, vivid on dark. Everything else is ink.
The middle bar sits six units left of center. That asymmetry is intentional and appears in every reproduction: one deliberate irregularity per surface is a house rule.
Below 48px use the small tier: one bar, heavier stroke. Clearspace equals one arch-leg width on all sides.
02 · Wordmark
Lowercase, geometric, one accent
The name sets lowercase in Space Grotesk at weight 500, tracked slightly tight. The two-tone form colors "connect" in the accent and is the default on digital surfaces; the single-tone form is for quiet contexts. The legal line sets in JetBrains Mono, letter-spaced to justify exactly to the wordmark's width. Shipped files carry outlined paths, no fonts.

03 · Color
Neutral base, one accent
Warm paper and near-black ink carry everything. Teal is the only accent: deep on light so text passes contrast floors, vivid on dark. If a screen has more than one accent color on it, something is wrong.

Three families, three jobs
All three are open-licensed and self-hosted. Display tracks tight; mono labels track wide.
05 · Rules
How to not break it
One accent per surface. Teal, in the right depth for the ground. Never two accent colors on one screen.
The road may be teal; the rest of the mark may not. One accent in the mark, ever.
Never redraw the mark. Reproductions come from the shipped files; the small tier takes over below 48px.
The wordmark is always lowercase. No capitalized, spaced, or stacked-letter versions of the name.
Contrast floors are non-negotiable. Text passes WCAG AA minimum on every ground, checked in CI before deploys.
Motion stays quiet. Small fades and lifts, 200 to 360 milliseconds, and every animation respects reduced-motion preferences.
Claims stay concrete. Numbers that can be checked, systems that actually run. No superlatives doing the work of evidence.
The product register is separate. Pathway's own surfaces use a dark, organic identity that lives with the product, not on this site.
